Opportunity for South Australian artists to work with pvi collective

Vitalstatistix is offering up to 10 South Australian artists the opportunity to work with acclaimed interdisciplinary artists pvi collective. (http://www.pvicollective.com) Participants will collaborate with pvi through a two week creative development that will remake their tactical media work transumer in a new context, Port Adelaide. You could be a theatre-maker, performer, visual artist, gamer, designer, composer, new media artist… You will be interested in public space, technology, creative resistance, live art, rat-baggery and making the most of a unique creative opportunity!

Expressions of Interest for the ten places are due Friday 8th April.


Media Resource Centre’s ‘Raw Nerve’ Applications have just opened.

Raw nerve provides entry level film makers with mentoring and inn-kind equipment support to produce a short film. Info & application forms can be found on the MRC’s website : http://www.mrc.org.au/make-it/initiatives/raw_nerve_2011

Splendid is calling out for cross disciplinary artists (including digital media) for their next Arts Lab.
Artists for splendid must be under 30 and in first 5 years of their professional practice.

Science Alive! Opportunity

Science Alive! are looking one or more artists to exhibit for the three days of the Science Alive! event within the Adelaide Showground’s Goyder Pavilion on 5-7 August 2011. Follow this link to find out more and make contact.

Opportunities to exhibit: floor space for installations and/or wall space to project images, hanging artwork from the Goyder’s ceiling beams, option for artists to work with Science Alive! visitors to create artworks and promotion with the SALA festival with posters and displays.
